The main objective of HR is to meet the organizational needs of the company and frame policies and procedures to put in place each employee with an understanding of what is expected of him and maintain cohesiveness in the company, while at the same time endeavor to fulfill employees’ aspirations and hopes, who constitute the backbone of the company.
It is therefore important to create an ambiance at workplace, that is cohesive and conducive for its employees to grow and perform. It is the abiding responsibility of HRM to promote and maintain an inspiring and competitive environment at work place, so that the employees strive to excel one another.

The Human Resource Department keeps a track of the vast amount of data such as, employees records, payroll, productivity and growth level and coordinates with the rest of the departments of the company, in a bid to conduct and maintain a sustained growth rate of the company.

The entire range of functions of HRM, commencing from recruitment, selection, training, compensation, motivation, and performance appraisal, are meant to constantly gear up the system and regulate a steady growth rate. The HRM, therefore, forms the lifeline of the company.
